Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology or any related field with five years working experience in service desk support and administration.

Duties:

  • Supports and maintains service desk.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of digital projects.
  • Provide technical ICT and users support to the University community.
  • Responsible for installing and/or repairing both hardware and software of PC's, tablets PC's, laptops, desktop computers, printers, and copiers.
  • Assist users with computer-related issues such as trouble shooting equipment/network problems.
  • Installs, configures, and upgrades operating systems and software on all tablet Pcs and other networked computers.
  • Installs and configures PCs and peripherals such as printer and scanners as required for new installations.
  • Assist users in the use of standard software including, but not limited to; anti-virus software, O365.
  • Supervises service desk team and IT technicians. Contributes to the development, implementation and review of service desk related policies and processes.
  • Implement departmental policies and standards and ensuring adherence to all security procedures. Provide advice, assistance, and training to IT users in matters that are technical in nature.
